Growing In Your Walk (and a Giveaway!!)

We all want healthy habits for not only us, but our children as well. I want them to eat their veggies, drink water, fall in love with sports or some kind of exercise, and most importantly fall in love with reading their Bibles.

Establishing these routines prove to be a little bit more difficult than expected especially when life interrupts our best laid plans.

Finding a rhythm that works for your family and sticking to it, can be one of the best things as parents that you can do for your children.

They come to know what to expect and when to expect it, even if they do grumble and complain and act like they would rather be jumping off a cliff with little Johnny than sitting for a family meal or listening to a short devotional. :)

One of the great new Adventures in Odyssey products released this year is 90 Devotions for Kids, aimed at kids 8 to 12. This soft-cover book draws you in with illustrations, puzzles, and kid-friendly applications. It also includes a daily Bible verse, daily challenges, words of encouragement from different AIO characters, and more. Even if your kids aren’t already Adventures in Odyssey fans, they’ll enjoy these daily devotionals, and get to know the Odyssey crew along the way.

Sound good? There's more :)

To help promote the 90 Devotions for Kids, Tyndale is giving away one copy of the devotional to one of my lucky readers!!

Leave me a comment on this post and random.org will pick a winner, Monday July 29th. Couldn't be any more simpler than that!

But wait, there's more!!

Now, that's all.

I hope through this series you have thought of some fun ways to connect with your kiddos through serving. If you missed the other two posts you can read them here:: When You Serve & Imagine

"Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not turn from it."Proverbs 22:6

****Thanks for reading guys, I'm on vacation right now, but will be back soon.  The summer has a way of making you want to soak in each day and spend it with those you love. Love long lazy days of summer and trying to take in each one with my family.

  4. What a beautiful family you have! My older son's 13, now, but when he was younger, we used the same devotional I used as a child: Keys for Kids. He also had what we called a comic-book Bible that he just loved. I haven't settled on a devotional for my little kids (8 mos, almost 3, and 4.5), yet.
